Welcome to Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service
Our charity is developing Berkshire's very own local children's hospice service.
We support children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions – and their families – throughout the area.
Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service now funds two community paediatric palliative care nurses who support families across Berkshire in their own homes, providing much needed respite, palliative care, emotional and practical support. We are working towards building Berkshire's very own children's hospice for these local families which will be supported by a home care team.
Our ethos is that the child is central to everything that we do. We work in partnership with families and local hospitals so that we can provide 'joined-up' support that really benefits each and every family. We always listen and learn so that we can deliver a flexible service which meets their changing needs.
Our charity was founded by parents who wholly understand what these families are experiencing. We feel privileged to be supporting these exceptional children and their families – please join us as we work to make their difficult journeys just that little bit easier.
