Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser (x2)

£20,000 - £24,000: Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service: This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dedicated and motivated team, raising vital funds to enable us to continue to support children living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions across Berkshire and surrounding counties.

The Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser will take responsibility for effective and efficient research, to aid the preparation and submission of applications to various Trust and Foundations and other Grant-Making bodies.  The post holder will work collaboratively with our Fundraising Team and Care Team to identify joint income-generation opportunities.

The successful candidate will have considerable trust fundraising experience, with a demonstrable record of working with, and securing funds from, major trust and foundations and other Grant making bodies.   The candidate must be proactive, and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to write compelling proposals, showcase excellent research skills and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• To generate income by preparing and submitting exceptional applications to various charitable trusts and foundations and other grant-making bodies in line with agreed targets
• Research other potential funding opportunities and grant-giving bodies
• Research individual donor prospects and refer contacts to the Director of Fundraising
• Carry out an agreed number of applications
• Research and create individual project proposals that suit individual trusts and foundations, to maximise income

Corporate Fundraiser

£24,000 Pro Rata: Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service: This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dedicated and motivated team, raising vital funds to enable us to continue to support children living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions across Berkshire and surrounding counties.

The post holder will contribute to the overall development and the delivery of the Alexander Devine fundraising strategy by implementing a corporate fundraising business plan to maximise income from the Berkshire corporate sector.

The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing the research and cultivation of future Corporate Donors and securing COTY partnerships. In addition, the postholder will liaise with the Community Fundraising Team to identify and secure sponsorship for Alexander Devine initiatives.

Our ideal candidate will have considerable corporate fundraising experience with a demonstrable record of working with and securing income from the corporate sector.  The candidate will be positive, proactive and work well in a team, have excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and administration skills in order to prepare written proposals and deliver COTY presentations.
